Day 1

Travel to Porto, Portugal.

Day 2

Welcome to Porto. Brimming with history and culture, this coastal city is known for its stately bridges and port wine production. Arrive at the Editory Artist Baixa Porto Hotel for a 2-night stay. Dinner

Day 3

Breakfast. Guided tour of Porto highlighting the impressive Palacio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace) and Porto Ribeira, the city’s medieval old city. Visit a Port Wine cellar for a tour and tasting. Take a cruise on the Douro River for views of the city’s iconic bridges. Dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast. Visit the Sanctuary of Fatima, built to commemorate the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in 1917. Journey to Lisbon, Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. Situated where the Tagus River meets the coast, Lisbon is marked by its stunning views and long, storied history. Arrive at the Editory Riverside Hotel for a 3-night stay. Dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast. Guided tour of Lisbon. Explore the city center with its many attractions and the city’s castle on a hill. Explore well known neighborhoods, Alfama Quarter, with its steep streets and alleys and Baixa Chiado, Lisbon’s main shopping and banking district. Visit one of Portugal’s finest museums, The Calouste Gulbenkian, featuring a wonderful range of artifacts, sculptures and paintings. Enjoy a dinner show at a famed Fado club, featuring live performances of traditional Portuguese music.

Day 6

Breakfast. Experience Pastel de Nata, an authentic Portuguese baking class and tasting. Visit Sintra, a favorite summer retreat of Portugal’s monarchs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Pena Palace, Portugal’s most stunning expression of 19th-century romanticism.

Day 7

Breakfast. Explore the charming town of Tavira, known for its beautiful beaches and historic architecture. Lunch in Tavira. Journey to Seville, a vibrant metropolis known for its magnificent architecture and passionate culture. Arrive at Eurostars Torre Sevilla for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 8

Breakfast. Take a guided horse-carriage tour of Seville. Visit the Real Alcazar de Sevilla, built in the 10th century by the Moors who ruled Seville for over 500 years; it was later expanded and renovated by the Christians after the Reconquista, and it has been the residence of Spanish royalty for centuries. Delight in Paella and other Andulsian treats in a cooking class and dinner.

Day 9

Breakfast. See Olvera, one of the famed Pueblos Blancos, a series of whitewashed towns. Explore the town of Ronda known for being the birthplace of bullfighting and its narrow cliff bridge Puente Nuevo. Arrive at Barcelo Granada Congress Hotel for a 2-night stay in Granada. Dinner.

Day 10

Breakfast. Explore Granada and visit the Alhambra Palace. Once a palace and fortress for the city's Muslim rulers, the Alhambra means ‘red fort' and is named after the red clay used in its construction in the mid-13th century. The Generalife was the country residence of the Nasrid king. The recreational courtyard and its beautiful gardens sit on the slopes of the Cerro del Sol, offering spectacular views. Enjoy a Flamenco Dinner and show.

Day 11

Breakfast. Visit Córdoba for a guided walking tour through the cobblestone streets of the former Jewish Quarter and Cordoba Mosque- Cathedral. Journey to Madrid, the vibrant Capital city of Spain. Arrive at the Barcelo Torre de Madrid hotel for a 3-night stay. Dinner.

Day 12

Breakfast. Discover one of Madrid’s world-class art museums at the Prado or Reina Sofia. Experience Madrid’s culinary scene and taste traditional dishes on a walking food tour of the city.

DAY 13

Breakfast. Enjoy a day at leisure in Madrid to relax, shop or sightsee before enjoying a farewell dinner.

DAY 14

Breakfast. Flight home.
