Join American Classic Tours as we embark on this special journey to America's last frontier - Alaska. The first part of this trip will be by land as we fly into Fairbanks and travel to Denali and Anchorage. The second part of this trip will be by sea as we cruise on Holland America's MS Nieuw Amsterdam through Alaska’s Inside Passage.

Land Portion at a Glance

DAY 1 Welcome to Fairbanks, Alaska! Arrive at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge for 2 nights. Dinner in Fairbanks.

DAY 2 Breakfast. Gold Dredge Tour on Tanana Valley Railroad. Meet Alaskan miners who explain mining history & pan for gold! Lunch. Chena River Sternwheeler Cruise. Dinner.

DAY 3 Breakfast. Scenic travel to Denali Visitors Center. Arrive at Grande Denali Lodge for 2 nights. Dinner in Denali.

DAY 4 Breakfast. Tundra Wilderness Narrated Tour in Denali National Park to search the vast wilderness for bear, caribou & Dall sheep. Lunch & dinner.

DAY 5 Breakfast. Visit Dog Sled Team Kennel to learn about Iditarod. Deluxe dome railcar to Anchorage. Lunch & dinner included aboard train excursion. Arrive at Marriott Hotel Anchorage for a 1-night stay.

DAY 6 Breakfast. Anchorage guided city tour including Earthquake Park and Lake Hood. Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see wildlife up close & personal. Arrive in the coastal city of Whittier to board MS Nieuw Amsterdam to begin a 7-day cruise.

BY SEA

After visiting the interior of Alaska set sail on Holland America’s MS Niuew Amsterdam for a relaxing 7 day cruise of southeastern Alaska. Experience the luxury of state-of-the-art cruise ship amenities and service, fine dining, professional entertainment and your stateroom with private veranda. While cruising the Inside Passage, witness the unique rain forest eco-system, quaint villages, native cultures and majestic glaciers. Three shore excursions included. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations prior to or on the final payment date receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation. Cancellations after the final payment date, there is no refund. If you purchase travel insurance, you are eligible to file a claim with your insurance provider.
