Day 6
Breakfast. Cruise through Charleston’s historic harbor to Fort Sumter. Learn about the major events which led to the outbreak of America’s Civil War on this fully narrated tour with time to explore the fort & museum. Sit back as the grace of Charleston comes alive on a carriage tour through one of the best preserved, grandest historic districts of any city in the country. View the southern charm of Charleston in its beautiful homes, historic shrines, old churches, lovely gardens, winding streets, and intricate iron lace gateways.

Breakfast. Guided tour of Drayton Hall ca 1738. This Georgian Palladian House is in its original condition surrounded by beautiful live oaks. Box lunch included at Magnolia Gardens ca. 1676 — oldest public gardens in America. Tour the historic plantation home and ride the tram to explore the stunning grounds teeming with beautiful flowers and verdant wetlands. Dinner.
