Day 1

Welcome to Washington DC. Arrive at Washington Hilton at Dupont Circle for a 3-night stay. Dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast. Discover our nation’s beautiful capital city on an all-day guided tour of Washington D.C. with stops at the WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Iwo Jima, Lincoln and FDR Memorials. Drive by Jefferson Memorial, Capitol, White House, and Washington Monument. Dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast. Free day at Smithsonian Campus: Museum of American History, Natural History Museum, Mall Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Castle, Freer Gallery of Art, Museum of the American Indian, Air & Space Museum and more. Dinner. “Night Light” tour of the beautifully illuminated buildings & monuments of Washington D.C.

Day 4

Breakfast. Visit Arlington National Cemetery – Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Kennedy Grave Sites, Challenger Memorial & more. Travel to the City of Brotherly Love - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Arrive at lodging in the heart of Philadelphia, for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast. Begin the day with a guided tour of Philadelphia’s historic district: the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross Home, Congress Hall, Christ Church, Philadelphia Art Museum (the Rocky Steps), Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and charming 18th century Society Hill. Dinner.

Day 6

Breakfast. Relive the epic story of George Washington and his fellow soldiers’ struggle for survival during the Encampment at Valley Forge on a guided tour. Lunch at the Black Powder Tavern, a former secret storage building of rebel ammunition during the Revolutionary War. Arrive at The Gettysburg Hotel, Est. 1797, located in the heart of historic downtown Gettysburg, PA for a 2-night stay. Dinner followed by an historical program featuring actors portraying General & Mrs. U.S. Grant.

Day 7

Breakfast. Marvel at the Cyclorama, a painting depicting famous “Pickett’s Charge” of the Civil War Battle at Gettysburg. Explore the Gettysburg Visitor’s Center and its 139,000 square foot museum featuring 11 exhibit galleries. Guided tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield. Dinner.

Cancellations prior to or on the final payment date receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation. Cancellations after the final payment date, there is no refund. If you purchase travel insurance, you are eligible to file a claim with your insurance provider.
