Day 1

Motorcoach departs from Chicago. Lunch in Saugatuck, Michigan. Scenic travel though Michigan. Lodging in Traverse City for a 1-night stay. Dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast. Guided tour of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Discover the lakeshore’s variety of landforms such as sand dune deserts, hardwood forests, cedar swamps & bogs of sphagnum moss and gigantic dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. Free time in Traverse City. Board a Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island with views of the Mackinac Bridge. Step back into the 19th century where transportation is limited to horse & buggy, bicycle or foot. The Victorian atmosphere will enchant you from the moment you step off the dock. Horse drawn carriages will transport you to the world famous Grand Hotel where we will check in for a 3-night stay. Dinner at the Grand Hotel.

Day 5

Breakfast at the Grand Hotel. Arrive at the Drury Inn Grand Rapids for a 1-night stay. Dinner.

Day 6 

Breakfast. Visit the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. Narrated tram tour & lunch at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Tour ends. Motorcoach returns to Chicago.
