Day 1 - Arrival in MEmphis

Welcome to Memphis, Tennessee! Arrive at a Memphis hotel for a 1 night stay. Dinner.

DAY 2

Breakfast at hotel. Tour Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion, two custom jets, auto museum, and his gravesite. Board the American Queen.

Day 3 - Port of the Mississippi Delta/Greenville, MS

Shore Excursion: The Great Delta Music Experience

On this musical journey see where it all began at Dockery Farms, the birthplace of the Delta Blues & The GRAMMY Museum Mississippi. Journey to Indianola, hometown of legendary B.B. King. Live performance and lunch at the B.B. King Museum & Delta Interpretative Center.

Day 4 - Vicksburg, MS

SHORE EXCURSION: On the Front Lines of the Civil War

Explore Vicksburg National Military Park and National Cemetery. Tour the USS Cairo and Museum, an iron clad riverboat raised from the depths of the Mississippi River.

Day 5 - Natchez, MS

Shore Excursion: Charming Natchez

Natchez (1716) is the oldest city on the Mississippi River and known for elegance, hospitality and impressive preservation of history. Enjoy unique shops and restaurants and options include: Rosalie Mansion, Johnson Museum, Stanton Hall, King’s Tavern, and Magnolia Hall. Eras of the Southern Plantation: A Day in the Life at Frogmore. A guided tour through a time-turning adventure of history of Frogmore.

Day 6 - Pointe Coupee, LA

Shore Excursion: Known as the “little Carnival Capital”

New Roads followed New Orleans’ example by staging Mardi Gras celebrations as early as 1881. A Louisiana Main Street community, New Roads is also home to several historic estates, particularly along the False River — revealing breathtaking natural beauty.

Day 7 - Baton Rouge, LA

Shore Excursion: Best of Baton Rouge

Explore the diversity of the energetic port of Baton Rouge by visiting the USS Kidd, Capitol Park Museum, Louisiana’s State Capitol, LSU Museum of Art and LSU Rural Life Museum.

Day 8 - Nottoway, LA

Shore Excursion: Grand Southern Plantation Tour

Enjoy an included tour of Nottoway Plantation, the South’s largest remaining antebellum mansion.

Day 9 - New Orleans, LA

This morning disembark the American Queen. Guided tour of New Orleans. Free time to enjoy the French Quarter. Arrive at the landmark Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter for 1 night.

Day 10 - Flight Home

Breakfast at hotel. Flight home.

For cancellations prior to or on the final payment date, you will receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation fee. For cancellations after the final payment date with insurance purchased, you are eligible to submit a claim for a refund through the travel insurance provider. Travel insurance can include coverage for trip cancellation/interruption, emergency medical & medical evacuation/repatriation, baggage delay, trip delay, and more. For cancellations after the final payment date without insurance purchased, there is no refund.
