Day 1

Welcome to New England! Arrive at Harraseeket Inn, Freeport, Maine for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast. Guided tour of Portland, Maine. Visit Portland Headlight. Afternoon Casco Bay Scenic Cruise to view lighthouses, forts, lobster boats & seals. Dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast. Explore the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath. Free time in Freeport, home of L.L. Bean’s flagship store. Scenic travel through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Arrive at the grand Mt. Washington Hotel of Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, for a 2-night stay. Built in 1902 amidst the White Mountains, this historic resort has been a favorite retreat for presidents, poets and celebrities. Dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the amenities of the Mount Washington Hotel. Sit back, relax and marvel at the mountain scenery from the comfort of the hotel’s beautiful veranda. Ride the Mount Washington Cog Railway. Dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast. Meander historic Woodstock, VT and see Middle Covered Bridge. Explore Billings Farm highlighting Vermont’s Farm Heritage on this working dairy farm with Jersey cows, creamery, farmhouse and ice cream to enjoy! Scenic travel through the Green Mountains. Visit Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Arrive at the Trapp Family Lodge near Stowe, VT (September Departure) or the Stoweflake Resort (October Departure) near Stowe, VT for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

Day 6

Breakfast. Explore Shelburne Museum’s campus of 25 historic buildings featuring vast collections of Americana including the steamboat, Ticonderoga, Shaker Round Barn, General Store, Carousel and The Webb Gallery featuring American paintings by Andrew Wyeth, Winslow Homer, Grandma Moses, and John Singleton Copley. Return to Stowe for a history tour of the Trapp Family Lodge owned and operated by the original von Trapp Family made famous in the beloved movie, The Sound of Music. Dinner.

Day 7

Breakfast. Scenic mountainous travel. Arrive in Massachusetts for a guided tour of Lexington and Concord. Arrive at Boston Marriott Long Wharf for a 2-night stay. Dinner.

DAY 8

Breakfast. Guided tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail. Free time in Quincy Market. Dinner.
