Day 1

Motorcoach departs from Chicago. Celebrate Christmas in Amish Country! Lunch. Visit the Menno-Hof Museum and discover facts about the lifestyles and beliefs of the Amish, Mennonites & Hutterites. Arrive at Blue Gate Garden Inn in Shipshewana, Indiana, for a 2-night stay. The inn is delightfully decorated in beautiful country style and festively decked out for Christmas. Dinner followed by evening entertainment TBA. Marvel at the Shipshewana Lights of Joy featuring more than 2 million LED lights and specialty displays viewed from the comfort of the motorcoach.

Day 2

Breakfast. Guided back roads tour of Amish Country to see Amish folk in plain dress, simple white homes and farmsteads, black buggies, and Amish country schoolhouses. Stops made at Yoder Popcorn Shop, quilt shop, and more. Free afternoon in Shipshewana to explore the charming shops, restaurants and mercantiles. Family style dinner in an Amish Home with a Christmas Cookie Making Demonstration. There will be Christmas cookies to take home! Evening entertainment TBA

Day 3

Breakfast. Visit Rise n Roll Amish Bakery for fresh baked breads and sweet baked treats as well as Amish noodles, apple butter & a variety of Amish made preserves. With farmer owners and Amish roots, the Heritage Ridge Creamery will be our next stop to sample and purchase delicious cheeses. Lunch at Das Dutchman Essenhaus with free time to browse the charming shops and holiday decorations. Tour ends. Motorcoach returns to Chicago.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations prior to or on the final payment date receive a full refund less a $50 cancellation. Cancellations after the final payment date, there is no refund. If you purchase travel insurance, you are eligible to file a claim with your insurance provider.
