Welcome to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - the City of Brotherly Love. Arrive at Le Meridien, a historic Georgian revival-style hotel in the heart of Philadelphia, for a 2-night stay. Dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast. Guided tour of Philadelphia: the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross Home, Congress Hall, and Christ Church. Dinner.
Day 3
Breakfast. Relive the epic story of George Washington and his fellow soldiers’ struggle for survival during the Encampment at Valley Forge on a guided tour. Travel to Gettysburg. Marvel at the Cyclorama, a painting depicting famous “Pickett’s Charge” of the Civil War Battle at Gettysburg. Explore the Gettysburg Visitor’s Center. Arrive at The Gettysburg Hotel, Est. 1797, located in the heart of historic downtown Gettysburg, PA for a 1-night stay. Dinner followed by an historical program featuring actors portraying General & Mrs. U.S. Grant.
Day 4
Breakfast. Guided tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield. Enjoy the famous Skyline Drive across Shenandoah National Park. Arrive at the Omni Hotel, Charlottesville, Virginia for a 1-night stay. Dinner.
