Day 1
Flight to San Francisco. Arrive at Marriott Union Square for 5 nights located near world-class shopping, dining and theater. Stay in style and sophistication with well-appointed guest rooms complete with breathtaking views of the bay and city skyline. Dinner at Scoma’s.
Day 2
Breakfast. Begin the day with a guided tour of San Francisco, a lively & lovely city freshened by clean Pacific breezes and warmed by the California sun. Highlights include Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Knob Hill, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, North Beach, Twin Peaks, the Civic Center, Seal Rocks, Victorian San Francisco architecture & more. Free time for lunch & shopping on Fisherman’s Wharf. Set sail on a narrated Blue & Gold Fleet Harbour Cruise on beautiful San Francisco Bay that sails under the Golden Gate Bridge, along the waterfront, through the bay past Angel Island and Alcatraz. Dinner at the Franciscan Restaurant, Fisherman’s Wharf.
Day 3
Breakfast. Tour Muir Woods National Monument, a 550 acre preserve embracing stand of old growth coast redwoods - the tallest type of tree on earth - some up to 1,000 years old. Travel to Sausalito, a picturesque town above San Francisco Bay. This quaint Mediterranean-style village, nestled against the Marin County headlands, offers unique shopping & beautiful breathtaking views. Free time for lunch & shopping here. Free evening in San Francisco.
Day 4
Breakfast. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A leader in ocean conservation and education, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is considered by many to be the best in the world. Free time for lunch and shopping in beautiful Carmel By-The-Sea, an amazing European-style village nestled above a picturesque white-sand beach. Experience the stunning scenery along the 17 Mile Drive with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Pebble Beach & The Lone Cypress. Dinner at Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
Day 5
Breakfast. Travel to beautiful Napa Valley on board the Wine Train, expertly refurbished vintage Pullman Cars ca 1915. Sip California wine while savoring the scenes of Napa Valley from the train. Enjoy fine dining during a multiple course gourmet meal. Tour & tasting at Jacuzzi Winery. Free evening in San Francisco.

Breakfast. Flight to Chicago.
