Day 1
Flight to Boston. Travel to Maine. Arrive at Cliff House Resort on the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Neddick, ME. Lobster Bake Dinner at resort.
Day 2
Breakfast. Casco Bay Scenic Cruise to view lighthouses, forts, lobster boats & seals. Free time in Portland, ME. Visit the Portland Headlight. Scenic travel through White Mountains of New Hampshire. Arrive at the grand Mt. Washington Hotel in the White Mountains near Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, two nights. Built in 1902 this luxury resort has been a favorite retreat for presidents, poets and celebrities. Dine in elegance at hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast. Free day to relax & enjoy Mt. Washington Hotel amenities. Dine in elegance at hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast. Scenic travel through the Green Mountains of Vermont. Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks. Free time in Montpelier, VT and view State Capitol Building. Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory with tour & tasting. Arrive at the Alpine-style Trapp Family Lodge nestled in the
mountains near Stowe, VT for two nights. This lodge is owned by the original von Trapp Family made famous in the beloved movie, The
Sound of Music. History Tour of the Trapp Lodge provided by a member of the von Trapp Family. Dinner at the von Trapp Bierhall.
Day 5
Breakfast. Explore Shelburne Museum’s vast collection of Americana including the steamboat, Ticonderoga. Lake Champlain cruise on Spirit of Ethan Allen, Burlington, VT. Dinner at lodge.
Day 6
Breakfast. Billings Farm - highlights Vermont’s Farm Heritage on this working dairy farm with Jersey cows, creamery, farmhouse & more, Woodstock, VT. View historic downtown Woodstock, VT and see Middle Covered Bridge. Vermont Country Store, Weston, VT. Bennington Battle Monument, Bennington, Vermont. Arrive at Courtyard by Marriott, Lenox, Massachusetts. Dinner in area.
Day 7
Breakfast. Berkshire Hills scenic travel. Norman Rockwell Museum & Studio, Stockbridge, MA. Tour author Edith Wharton’s dignified country estate & gardens, The Mount, Lenox, MA. Dinner at historic Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge, MA.
Day 8
