Day 1
Lunch in Indianapolis, IN. Arrive at the Hampton Inn located in downtown Louisville for 2 nights. Dinner cruise on the Ohio River
aboard the Spirit of Jefferson.
Day 2
Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour of Louisville. Visit Kentucky Derby Museum & tour Churchill Downs home of the Kentucky Derby, the first leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. Tour Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum. See a professional production of Oklahoma at the Derby Dinner Theater. This Rodgers & Hammerstein classic brings the West alive with its jubilant dance numbers, romantic tale, and enchanting songs. An American Musical favorite!
Day 3
Breakfast at hotel. Tour Federal Hill, the Georgian-style mansion that was the inspiration for Stephen Foster’s ballad, “My Old Kentucky Home.” Located in Bardstown, this is Kentucky’s premier historical site that features over two centuries of antiques, paintings, and architecture rendered beautifully in the Federal Style. Formal gardens, outbuildings that include a smokehouse, historic kitchen, carriage house, cabin, and springhouse are set amongst century old magnolias, maples, and cedar trees. Hear the song “My Old Kentucky Home” sung by a costumed vocalist. Tour Heaven Hill Distillery & Kentucky Bourbon. Taste this famous refined liquor distilled in Kentucky which is the only state legally allowed to put its name on the bourbon bottle. Horse-drawn wagon tour of Kentucky Horse Park, Hall of Champions & watch the Parade of Breeds. Arrive at the Hilton Garden Inn, Georgetown, KY. Dinner in area.
Day 4
Breakfast at hotel. Experience Ark Encounter a life-size Noah’s Ark! This is a new one-of-a-kind attraction in Williamstown, KY. The centerpiece of the park is a full-scale model of Noah’s Ark from the Genesis flood narrative in the Bible and is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. Lunch included at the Ark Encounter. Arrive at the Best Western Plus, Covington, Ohio. Dinner at Montgomery Boathouse on the Ohio River, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Day 5
Breakfast at hotel. Tour the state-of-the-art Creation Museum and venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, planetarium, and much more. Lunch included at the Creation Museum.
