Day 1

Flight to Washington, DC. Visit the Museum of the Bible - an innovative, global, educational institution whose purpose is to invite all people to engage with the Bible. Arrive at the Westin Arlington Gateway located in the vibrant Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, VA. Check in for a 5-night stay. Dinner at the Westin.

Day 2

Breakfast. Discover our nation’s beautiful capital city on an all-day guided tour of Washington D.C. with stops at the WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Iwo Jima, Lincoln and FDR Memorials. Drive by Jefferson Memorial, Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, National Cathedral, Embassy Row, Supreme Court, Navy Memorial, Library of Congress, Women in Military Service Memorial, Union Station and more. Dinner at Tony and Joe’s.

Day 3

Breakfast. Reserved Grand Stand Seating at the National Cherry Blossom Parade — An American Tradition! “Night Light” tour of the beautifully illuminated buildings & monuments of Washington D.C.

Day 4

DAY 4 Breakfast. Potomac River Boat Cruise to Mount Vernon, home of our country’s first president, George Washington. A tram will meet you dockside and transport you up to the home for a guided tour. Dinner at historic Gadsby’s Tavern (1770) in Alexandria, Virginia.

Day 5

Breakfast. Free day at Smithsonian Campus includes: Museum of American History, Natural History Museum, Mall Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Castle, Freer Gallery of Art, Museum of the American Indian, Air & Space Museum and more. Tour of historic Ford’s Theater Dinner at Filomena’s in Georgetown.

Day 6

DAY 6 Breakfast. Visit Arlington National Cemetery – see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, Kennedy Grave Sites, Challenger Memorial & more. Flight home.

American Classic Tours is based out of Chicago. Because many of our travelers are from the greater Chicagoland Area, all of our tours begin at one of Chicago’s airports. If you are from out of state or country, you can join us via a “land-only” tour package. A “land-only” tour is the exact same as our “all-inclusive” tour except it does not include airfare. Your tour director will meet you at your destination and lead you to meet the rest of the group on the first day of the tour.
