Day 1

Flight to Denver, CO. Arrive at the historic and luxurious Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver. Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast. Get acquainted with the Mile High City on a guided tour. Highlights include Millionaire’s Row, State Capitol, home of the unsinkable Molly Brown, Lo Do area and more. Free time to explore 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. Travel to Colorado Springs and explore the Air Force Academy Visitor Center. Arrive at the Marriott Colorado Springs for 2 nights. Dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast. Scenic travel to the summit of Pikes Peak through dense stands of Colorado blue spruce & Ponderosa pines. See cascading streams, mountain wildlife and spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Collegiate Range. Arrive at the Garden of the Gods for lunch while a Native American dancer performs traditional dances. See the film, “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?” Take a guided tour here where the red sandstone formations tell a unique geological story. Dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast. Tour Royal Gorge Bridge & Park — one of Colorado’s most spectacular attractions. Cross the world’s highest suspension bridge — at a height of 1,053 ft — by foot or on trolley, ride the world’s steepest incline railway to the bottom of the canyon or glide across the gorge on an aerial tramway. Board the Royal Gorge Train for a 2 hour excursion with reserved seating in the glass dome Vista cars for premium viewing as well as access to open-air car. Gourmet lunch served onboard. Arrive at the Hampton Inn, Alamosa, CO. Dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast. Ride the rails of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad - America’s most authentic steam rail traveling through the twists and turns of the San Juan Mountains crossing the Colorado-New Mexico border eleven times. Lunch in Osier. Arrive at the Doubletree Hotel in Durango, CO.

Day 6

Breakfast. All aboard the Durango & Silverton Railroad, voted one of the top train journeys in the world. Ride over the same tracks that miners, cowboys and settlers of the old west took over a century ago through canyons, the remote wilderness of the San Juan National Forest and Red Mountain Pass. Arrive at the Doubletree, Grand Junction, CO. Dinner.

Day 7

Breakfast. Scenic travel to Aspen, CO, once an old silver mining town and now a year-round alpine resort with breathtaking mountain views. Free time to discover downtown Aspen, featuring world class dining and unique shops. Enjoy scenic travel to Denver. Arrive at the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek. Dinner at the Fort Restaurant. Situated in Red Rocks country, the Fort is a true replica of Bent’s Fort, the first American community west of the Mississippi.

Day 8

Breakfast. Flight home.
